Pedro Winter, founder of the Ed Banger label, for whom skateboarding, and music are inextricably linked, personally selected emerging artists from the playground music scene.
Skateboarding's inclusion in the Tokyo Olympic Games has sparked a craze for the sport, inspiring young people to take it up. Eminent figures like Aurélien Giraud in street and Édouard Damestoy in bowl have contributed to this trend.
Damestoy, a double world champion in vert and X-Games medalist, co-created the program, which includes demonstrations. He was joined by top international skaters such as Jimmy Wilkins, Italo Penarrubia, Rony Gomes, and Alessandro Mazzara.
The Darwin collective set up two skateboard ramps for local and semi-pro skaters. They also offered introductory lessons with Cosanostra, the Paris-based school.
